Lumber spine AP View में lumber vertebrae की इमेजिंग की जाती है | Lumber vertebrae संख्या में 5 होती है | Trauma, postoperative तथा chronic condition में लंबर स्पाइन की रेडियोग्राफी की जाती है |
Position of patient and image receptor
- पेशेंट को bucky table में supine सुलाते है तथा MSP को कैसेट के perpendicular तथा midline के coincident रखते है |
- दोनों anterior superior iliac spine को टेबल से समान दुरी पर रखते है ताकि पेशेंट में रोटेशन न हो |
- दोनों Hip तथा knee को फ्लेक्स करते है तथा foot की planter surface को टेबल पर रखते है जिससे lumber arch कम हो जाता है तथा lumber region टेबल टॉप के पैरेलल हो जाता है |
- इसके लिए पर्याप्त लम्बाई की CR cassette काम में ली जाती है तथा रेडिओग्राफ में lower thoraic vertebrae तथा sacro-iliac joint शामिल किया जाता है |
- एक्सरे बीम की सेंट्रिंग लोअर कोस्टल मार्जिन पर रखी जाती है |
- एक्सपोज़र arrested expiration में किया जाता है, क्योकि इस परिस्थिति में डायाफ्राम ऊपर की और चला जाता है | नार्मल परिस्थितिओ में लंग्स अपर तथा लोअर लंबर स्पाइन में बहुत ज्यादा कंट्रास्ट तथा डेंसिटी डिफरेंस उत्पन्न कर देता है |
Direction and Location of X-ray beam
Collimated vertical x ray beam को lower costal margin को मिलाने वाली लाइन केबीच में सेंटर करते है |
Image Characteristic
- इमेज में T12 तथा पुरे sacro iliac joint शामिल होने चाहिए |
- SI joint की spine से दूरी को देखकर रोटेशन का पता लगाया जा सकता है |
Exposure parameter
- kVp - 70 to 90
- Technique - 500ma
- Time - 0.15 sec
- Grid - yes
- Grid ratio - 10 : 1
- FFD - 100cm
- Focal spot - Large (0.2mm)
Note
